Term and Condition

Welcome to Emirates Mover and Packers. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

1. Definitions

  • “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Emirates Mover and Packers.

  • “You”, “Your” refers to the customer or client requesting our services.

2. Service Agreement

By confirming a booking, you agree to engage Emirates Mover and Packers for moving, packing, loading, unloading, transportation, and related services as detailed in your service agreement or quotation.

3. Quotations and Pricing

  • All quotes provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

  • Quotes are based on the information provided by you at the time of booking. Additional charges may apply if:

    • The volume or weight of goods exceeds the initial estimate.

    • Access to the property is restricted or requires special equipment.

    • Additional services (packing, storage, disassembly/reassembly) are requested.

    • Unexpected delays or circumstances beyond our control occur.

  • Prices exclude VAT (5%) as per UAE law, which will be added to the final invoice.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due as per the agreed schedule in your invoice.

  • We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods.

  • Failure to pay on time may result in withholding of goods or suspension of services until payment is received.

5. Packing and Handling

  • We use professional packing materials and techniques to ensure the safety of your belongings.

  • You are responsible for declaring any fragile, valuable, or hazardous items before packing.

  • We do not move illegal, perishable, or hazardous goods unless specifically agreed upon in writing.

6. Liability and Insurance

  • We take utmost care in handling your goods; however, liability for loss or damage is limited as per UAE Consumer Protection Law and our company policy.

  • We recommend purchasing additional insurance for high-value items. Insurance options can be arranged upon request.

  • Claims for damage or loss must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with supporting evidence.

7. Delivery and Delays

  • Delivery dates are estimated and subject to change due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events.

  • If we are unable to deliver your goods due to reasons beyond our control, we may store your items at your expense until delivery can be completed.

8. Customer Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information about the goods, addresses, and access conditions.

  • Ensure parking and access for our vehicles at both pickup and delivery locations.

  • Inform us of any special instructions or requirements prior to the move.

9. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled move date.

  • Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee as specified in your service agreement.

10. Storage Services

  • If storage is required, terms will be provided separately. Storage fees apply from the date goods are received until collection or delivery.

11. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

  • Any disputes arising will be subject to the jurisdiction of the UAE courts.

12. Amendments

  • We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time with prior notice to customers.
